On September 18, 2024, the opening ceremony of the LQT Bachelor of Business program took place at Sofitel Saigon Plaza Hotel, welcoming 36 new students of cohort 02.

With the theme “Your shortcut to entrepreneurial success,” the 2024 opening ceremony emphasized that this program is the top choice for individuals passionate about business and eager to learn from successful entrepreneurs. The program not only provides in-depth knowledge but also helps students shorten the time spent gaining practical experience and facing challenges, enabling them to quickly achieve success on their entrepreneurial journey.

The event was honored by the presence of Associate Professor Dr. Trần Hà Minh Quân – Director of ISB, and Dr. Douglas Foster – Provost of the Western Sydney Vietnam program. Additionally, the ceremony welcomed distinguished senior guests, leaders, and top entrepreneurs. Especially notable was the participation of esteemed parents and students from cohorts 01 and 02, which added solemnity and meaning to the occasion.

Opening the event, Dr. Lý Quí Trung, Founder of the LQT Bachelor of Business program, emphasized the program’s mission to train a new generation of potential young entrepreneurs. Throughout their studies, students will engage with a unique curriculum designed to cultivate the mindset, attitude, and professional demeanor of a contemporary entrepreneur. As a result, students are equipped not only with essential knowledge and skills but are also inspired by modern business thinking.

Associate Professor Dr. Trần Hà Minh Quân stated: “I have noticed a standout quality in the students of cohort 01 in the WSU-LQT BBUS program—one that perfectly reflects the spirit that Dr. Lý Quí Trung and I have always aimed to ignite through this program: the strong passion and ambition for business. This ambition is a powerful driving force that helps students not only overcome challenges but also create a meaningful difference on their journey to becoming entrepreneurs.”

Associate Professor Dr. Trần Hà Minh Quân shared that with the program’s unique design, students will have the opportunity to meet seasoned entrepreneurs from various fields. Dr. Douglas Foster – Provost of the Western Sydney Vietnam program, remarked that WSU-LQT BBUS students are very special individuals, as reflected in their way of thinking and perceiving issues.
